The Sports Worlds' Latest Greedy Jackass

Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw were the ONLY living past Super Bowl MVPS currently in the U.S. who decided NOT to take part in the Super Bowl pregame show.

Was it because a family member was ill, was it due to a flight getting cancelled?

NOPE, it was strictly due to the almighty Dollar.

Joe Montana reportedly demanded $100,000 to appear. Apparently big Joe wants to be paid MORE money by the league that made him famous and wealthy.

I guess he wants us all to forget the 2 seasons in Kansas City where he faded into mediocrity.

Take away Jerry Rice, a host of other receivers, a great defense and an awesome Offensive Line, and Joe Montana is a Warren Moon type QB, great stats but never even close ot the ring.

Joe Montana is the latest addition to the list of celebrities with egos way bigger than their skills warrant, I hope he gets pancreatic cancer.

Under condition of anonymity

Republican Billionaire NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg donated $100 million to Johns Hopkins University. The best part of the whole article can be found in the 1st sentence:

"Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a billionaire known for his philanthropy, anonymously donated $100 million Thursday to Johns Hopkins University to support stem cell research, a new children's hospital and other projects, The Associated Press has learned."

Great research and journalism Sara Kugler, now go look up anonymous in the dictionary before you write any more articles.

On another side note, I would like to use this to inform all liberals and democrats that this proves that everything George Bush says and does NOT represnt the views of all republicans or even anyone beyond his office.

As an update/reminder, stem cell research has never shown any applicability in human trials, despite billions of dollars in research and hundreds of great minds working on it. Bush's decision was only to prevent federal funding on NEW stem cell lines, there is still federal funding available for pre-existing stem cell lines.

Deer hunting via snowmobile?

As many of you know, I am an avid deer hunter, I even got a 13 point buck this year. Hunting for the purpose of sport with the intention to eat what you kill is one thing, but cruelty for the sake of cruelty is just plain wrong!

Two little pansies in rural Minnesota decided to use their snowmobiles to run a deer down. They then slit its throat and left it to die with 3 broken legs.

Unfortunately the worst that Dale W. Guyer, 20, of Coleraine, Minn., and Gabriel W. Hill, 19, of Bovey may face is $1500 in fines.

Maybe someday a motorcycle gang will run them down, break their legs and leave them for dead.... stupid bastards.
